Midhurst C of E Primary School was first established in 1865 within the buildings opposite where the Half Moon Pub still sits today. The present school was built in 1972 and offers spacious accommodation, which includes 8 classroom bases within the main school along with further teaching space in our refurbished quad building. It is located in a central position within Midhurst town, enjoying safe and generously proportioned playing fields that provide an attractive environment in which we learn and play.

In recent years the school has developed its grounds and premises to meet the varying needs of all children.  Our renovated quad building provides us with much needed extra space for the whole school community to use for small group work, planning and meetings, after school clubs and even Forest Schools for our younger children. Our Reception class is now also fully at home in the building, making full use of the space both inside and out.

We have a computing area with desktops and netbooks which are networked to our computers within the classrooms, all of which have an interactive whiteboard. The school benefits from a spacious, well-resourced library which also provides a home for our many iPads.

We are proud of our Church of England heritage and the larger family of schools to which we belong. We have strong links with Midhurst Parish Church and Marcus the vicar who is a regular visitor and governor of our school.

Midhurst C of E Primary School currently offers both Breakfast & After-School provision for parents that require an extension to the normal school day.
