The team
The team which looks after and teaches your children is all the adults that work in school. Our job is to provide a safe, clean, healthy and happy environment which facilitates good learning. It therefore includes: dinner ladies, the caretaker, teachers, helpers, other agencies (school nurse), teaching assistants, learning support assistants and clerical staff.
We have a very strong team at Midhurst Primary School.
The teaching staff and their main areas of responsibilities are:
- Emily Alden – Key Stage 1 Co-ordinator, Maths
- Peter Aldren – Assistant Headteacher (Teaching and Learning), English, Art and Design Technology
- Matthew Barnes – Headteacher, Gifted & Talented co-ordinator, Geography & History
- Jenni Bellotti – The Early Years Foundation Stage, PSHE and Modern Foreign Languages
- Sally Clarke – Assistant Headteacher (Pastoral Care), Assessment, PE
- Karen Lovett – Cover Classteacher (Years 4, 5 and 6)
- Hannah Maxfield - Year 4 teacher
- Rhian Parry – Science and Music, Teacher Governor, Collective Worship
- Sue Pickett – Reception teacher
- Anita Springthorpe – Year 1 teacher, ICT, Special Educational Needs
